You should consider road racing then. I use to get to race against quite a few of the more exotic cars when the Porsche club would have their runnings.

i just watched that. really cool but every time they were like "______ is a couple thousand more pounds"
i was like wtf? thats alot of weight just for brakes, auto tranny, etc. lol

not only that..autos really arent that bad...it all depends on how you set it up for which specific power band..obviously nobody could use a manual tune set up on an auto..or use a auto tune set up on a manual.

I was overwhelmed just to see the LP640 Murci in my rearview mirror, it all happened so fast it was like a dream, 4-5 sec and shutdown... I was shaking a bit

definetely a very respectful loss

The LP60 is a low 11's car, not that that's shabby, but for the price...

I got on it with a 360 Modena back at the beach one night, didn't have the bottle open though, so he was pulling me, probably 2 cars over a 60 mph span....

As they say, there'll always be something faster.... but as long as they're 100k+ exotics, I'm still content!

listen, i love my car to death but u cant compare the new LP640 to an ls1. So what if u can hang with him till about 115 0r 120 (wutever u trap) but after u start going depper into the tripple digits hes gonna walk all over you. I loved hearing about ur story but there is no comparison. An LS1's factory redline is what 6k 6.5k?? 8k is nothing for the lambo, in fact most of the power kicks in after 4. As far as the price goes, yes $320,000 is a lot of money. Hell u cud prolly buy a house with that. But the people who drive those cars especially ones with a 6 digit price tag want to be differant in the crowd, and by all means they are. For 320k u get much more than a car that looks fast or sounds cool, u get a piece of art rolling on wheels.

Most exotics look like poop to me.
Give me a C6Z06....for a fraction of the cost and similiar performance.

I second Lous, c6z06, LT H and tuned close to 500rwhp = 1/4 of the price of the other exotics in the same power band. for the buck it is one of the most affordable semi exotic car along with the new dodge viper... at the end of the day, you put gas in it, haul ass with it and exaust gas comes out of it... If I seat in a $800 leather seat or $10000 leather seat I don't care, if the rims are $2000 bucks or $15000 I don't care etc...

it's like consuming $10 dollar glass of wine vs $50... ok... whatever no difference really, there're both good.
