Any Black Formulas or TA's with a bra?

I am considering ordering a bra for my formula, ive been driving now on the Florida Turnpike to get to school and theres a insane amount of truckers and rocks flying all over the place. Ive already noticed several new minor rock chips and I know that these bras look like crap, but I will only use it when I go to school 3 days a week. If anyone has pics please post them up to give me an idea of what it looks like. Thanks.

yea i already tried option 1 there, im on number two, lol.

Driving fast past the truckers is worse cuz then im coming at the rocks at higher speed while wasting pressure gas....

ok disregard this thread, i ordered it. I dont think it will look to bad since my car is black. We'll see. I found a couple of pictures of the bra on trans ams it was okay. None of the cars were black though so they stood out. Ill be okay.

I had one on my car when it was a daily driver. I have a hwy near me that alot of rock trucks drive, some problem they chipped the hell out of my hood. I would stay back from one but then one would come up from behind in the next lane and pass me throwing rock all over. I also used it on my bird when I drove it cross country. Helped keep the bugs off.

I ordered the license plate bird to put on the bra where it covers the front license plate cover to make it look as normal as possible. Im hoping it will work. I see you have a black formy as well, you dont happen to have any pics of your car with the bra do you?

Sorry, no I do not have pics with the bra on it. I see you have a WS6 hood. Is the bra you are getting for the WS6 hood? The bra I have is not for WS6. I did not know they made one.

I'd say get the clear kind. One came on my wife's car and you only see a faint line across the hood where it ends.

Send it back !!!! It will hurt the apperance of the car for sure....Get a clear bra I have a black TA and it had rock chips everywhere so I took it to GM and they made it look like new and then put a CLEAR BRA on it you cant even tell its there, its been two years since I put it on and my car still has zero rock chips ! Overall they fixed all of the previous chips and put the clear bra on for around $350 I highly suggest you take that option before putting that other bra on it. If you want to see some pics of it let me know I would be happy to post some up.

I had a really nice one on my '98 Formy in 2000....I got it from carbras.com, IIRC. It was really nice, it fit excellent and I actually got some compliments on it. I usually only used it when going to the track, it was a 2.5 hour ride on the highway.

I don't have pics though, they're all on film, and I don't have a scanner.
