The OBX Headers seem to have pretty strong welds around the EGR tube. I tried moving it a bit (nothing crazy) and it didnt reall bend any. The OBX racing headers are a little more than the JVT or Ebay Option headers ($350). I figure the OBX ones are the better of the cheaper options (not sure yet, still gotta install them. Dang wisconsin snow. It freakin horrible out right now. Dont want to do crap.

Good luck with the OBX's!! I feel bad for you weather wise......It's like perfect weather here in Arizona! (67-70 degrees/sunny skies) BTW those are normal temps for our winter....lol

and not to get too off topic but the JVT systems seem to be pretty good other than the gaskets they give you. I had a Lexes IS300 coming my shop the other day complaining of strange noises coming from his exhaust. Come to find out his entire exhaust is JVT Stainless Header back system. Really clean and put to gether really well. For a import system it was really clean. The only thing wrong was that imports seem to alway like their exhaust systems bolted on all the way to the muffler. 3 points had exhaust leaks. The system was bleeding itself to death. I gues to be cheap, you gotta cut corners somewhere. It seems they choose to do it in the gaskets. Which is a pain in the ass but its an easy fix really. SO far other than gaskets the ebay headers seem to do just fine. I gotta test mine out for a ls1 example. the obx headers didnt come with gaskets. no prob anyway, they would have probly sucked anyhow.

Yep, I have the JVT SS LT's and after MULTIPLE adjustments they are working great & make amazing sound. I had an additional weld placed on the passenger (weak) side to add additional support to the secondary tube......THEN I had to have a couple of leaks welded up on the header tubes AS the fit is very close to the K-member which caused too much stress. BUT, outside of that there in great working order and I MUST SAY I have NEVER heard an exhaust as raspy and bowtie as the one my vehicle makes (that is WITH The mods it has: 224R TSP cam on 114 & 918 springs......etc) All the guys down at the local auto parts store cannot believe the exhaust is so loud and strong!!! I'll post a video of this tomorrow afternoon....let me know what you guys think after it's posted. Thanks......

I say the EBAY's LT's are worth the money....all you end up doing is spending a little extra cash/labor fixing minor issues......at the end of the day you still SAVE anywhere from $200-$600 dollars vs. more expensive brands.........AND I Guarantee the high dollar brands will NOT dyno that much higher than these......heck I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were out gunned by EBAYER's...lol...............................WE NEED DYNO NUMBERS!!

I wish i could afford dyno runs. Hell, i woundnt even know where here in wisconsin to look for anyway.

wow lol how did you go from gettin the cheapest headers to the most expensive cat back?
-

Ha Ha...funny question.....Well I already had the Corsa catback BEFORE purchasing the Ebay LT's....Prior to this set up I had the pacesetter "shorty" ceramic headers.......The Corsa has been on there for at least 2 years now......but that's not too bad of a sound for "cheapy" Lt's huh????lol

No, there's no scam there. They just don't make the word "header" plural. No issues to worry about. I mean, the page states 23 sold........I don't think with FEEDBACK available this would even be at 10........additionally you can always email them your concern.......hope this helps.....

I just installed these headers over Christmas. I think they must be a run of headers with a bad O2 sensor placement. Before you install them, move the O2 bung on the passengers side, it tends to point downward. Also the EGR tube is week. This thread has all the info you need to know. For the money plus the little extra welding you'll have to pay for, you can't beat them. They fit in my car with zero mods to the firewall or kmember.

Honestly, they're all going to be extremely similar if not exacts. Any of the S/S headers should be exactly the same product to what this threads about
