are you sure?? I thought 98-02 anything exhaust wise should fit the same. on trans ams and camaros??

i called up mike at ws6 store and he said they would FIT, but that the emissions wouldnt line up. i'd pull up some pictures to compare the two

The headers and y should fit my 02 ss then, any install kit come with the
shortys? What brand is the y? What is cost to ship to Maine zip 04694?

They should since they didnt have any changes in the motor between the two years. The Y pipe I bought from lsp, its a slightly larger than stock y pipe, i never had any problems with it hitting the floor board either. So far as I know, shipping would be around 25 for each header, and about 60 or so for the y pipe for its size, although if it was cut it would be cheaper. As far as install kits, you can re use your stock bolts, and the gaskets i took off of there were paper.

How was the ground clearance with the ory ? is it 2 1/2 or 3" ? setup looks good. ANy dyno #s for the shortys? did you have cats on the setup or was it on the car like that?

The ground clearence was fine no issues. I believe the setup was a 2 1/2. No dyno numbers, shorties dont get you very much. There were no cats, what you see bolts right up to the block and to your exhaust system.
