I am assuming that you are talking about selling it from your 'web store' right?
In that case, 6 bucks is good. I think that it is 6.89 at the local chain auto parts around here.
But, when you add in shipping costs, it may not be worth if for customers who can get it locally for about the same total price

Well locally the cheapest was like 8 somthing.
Sarge I thought you said it was really good just not worth the price or was it a different oil you were talking about.
If money was not an issue what would you recommend.

There is no "best" oil. Each car has different mods/driving habits/geographical/environmental considerations. You must go through a UOA regiment to determine the "best" for you in particular. Now of course we can catalog lots of UOA's for various LSX motors in various states of modifications around the country and come up with some pretty damn accurate general statemtns as for the "best" oil. And we have. But then you throw in the fact oil manufacturers change formulas on us and voila....you get changes to your assumptions/data. Case in point. Royal Purple changed in the past 12-18 months. Dumbed their formula down and it started popping up in WalMart/NAPA etc......and of course down went the performance data.....so RP (which you seem to admire for some reason) went from a top quality oil to shit in a flash. It was caught in UOA data.
So with the above understood right now as I type....Pennzoil Platinum is the top off the shelf stuff you can get for your LSX motor. Amsoil/Shaeffer are the top dogs in the botique oil catagory. This all may change tomorrow....but if it does we will see it in our UOA's and continue down the road to happiness....without a shred of marketing/my mechanic said bullshit.
A long read...but when you come out the end I bet you never listen to hearsay/marketing bullshit again.
