Custom Slate Blue- 99 B4C
Here's everything I can give you, straight from GM:
Chevrolet’s heavy-duty parts program has shifted into overdrive with the introduction of a new 4L60 automatic transmission assembly. This sophisticated four-speed is GM’s first remanufactured, over-the-counter automatic transmission assembly for high-performance vehicles.
GM Motorsports Technology Group engineer Mark McPhail put together this appealing package that’s based on the 4L60 transmission (“3FFM” code) installed in ’93 Camaro Z28s. The 4L60 transmission’s steep 3.06:1 first-gear ratio produces quick off-the-line acceleration, while its 0.70:1 overdriven fourth gear and lock-up torque converter provide quiet, economical cruising.
This heavy-duty Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission is assembled with premium components from GM’s parts shelves. The turbine input shaft is shot-peened to improve its durability, and the 3-4 clutch pack is upgraded with Kevlar friction material. A high-ratio (0.74:1) servo with increased surface area applies the intermediate band positively. The valve body is calibrated for 5500rpm upshifts at wide open throttle--and unlike some automatics, the high-performance 4L60 will upshift into fourth gear at full throttle.
The transmission assembly includes a 298mm (11-3/4 inches) diameter torque converter that is specially designed for high-rpm operation. The converter housing is made from high-strength steel alloy. Furnace-brazed fins and a lock-up converter clutch rated to handle 400 lbs.-ft. of torque add reliability. The stall speed is approximately 1800 rpm with a high-performance small-block.
The 4L60 transmission is the successor to the workhorse 700R4 four-speed automatic used in thousands of rear-wheel-drive GM vehicles. Instructions are included for adapting the wiring harnesses in pre-’93 computer-controlled cars to the 4L60 transmission. The 4L60 can also be wired for operation without a computer in street rods, bracket racers, off-road trucks, and other emission-exempt applications. A fourth-gear pressure switch and replacement throttle valve spring are also supplied to calibrate the 4L60 for use with early-model vehicles. A replacement tail shaft extension housing (24214689) is available that moves the transmission mount to the same location as a Turbo 400 transmission.
For commuting, cruising, or competition, the new 4L60 four-speed is the automatic choice!

YJ- 04 GTO M6
The tranny gets used in almost every GM 4 speed vehicle. In a LS1 they will last around 100k before a rebuild. Unless you never get on it, but everybody does even know they say they dont.
