Different amount of rear tire wear a bad thing?
Hi,
This might be a stupid question, but I'm not sure so I thought I'd ask.
A couple of months ago some a$$hole slashed one of my rear tires (315 35ZR17)), and since it was an odd size it took me this long to get a new one, I finally got it in the mail today!! I didn't think I had that much wear on my old tires but now that I have a new one my old one looks to be about 1/2 worn. So will this be bad for the rear end if I put just 1 new tire on the back with the other rear half worn?
If so, what I can do about this? (Besides another new tire, I don't have an extra 500 bones right now.)

They will be fine, its probably only a difference of 4-5 32nds of an inch. No harm will be done!

yeah new tires are like 10 to 11/32nds so half 4/32nds so 1/8 of an inch?? thats not even what the car can sag with you driving it. it'll be okay

It is a goodyear Eagle F1 D3. I got it from tire rack, and by the time it got up here to Canada it was just over 400 (can't remember exactly). To buy one locally in Calgary from a shop is close to 500.
