New trans am!!!(maybe)
After eating japanese today me and my gf went crusing. Found a ws6 with a for sale sign at the end of walmart parking lot, had some other muscle cars and ricers being shown too(biggest walmart in ky. lol)
Red lt1 ws6 under 70k. Immaculant. Black Decal kit.
While we were looking the guy who owned it showed up to take it home for the night... talked to him for about 30 minutes and he let me go all through it.
New rods pistons etc etc etc, 3k on motor. wideband AF guages, with pillar pods, 373s, slp fan switch, 12 inch sub with custom box, nice nice setup. Sounded really really healthy. It was his kids and hes getting something for college since he is moving many miles away.
If we can sell the gf cavailier ASAP then its hers. Im gonna call the dood during work tomorrow and see if we can get a kind of reserve
I told her i would help her pay for some of it if I can switch her for the 373s and the guages.

sounds like a steal, id say go for it. Trust me, theres nothing wrong about lt1s until you start to mod them (ASIDE FROM OPTISPARK)... they you swap motors and your knee deep in the world ive come to know lol. Your girl will like it, theyre deffinatly good starter cars... i still miss my LS1 perfusley but im pretty content with what i have now.

Hey sounds sweet, but if you aren't in a hurry keep looking. Deals can be had especially nowadays. I found a 98 WS6 with 69000 miles for 7400 bucks and all it needs is a tranny mount bushing. Spotless otherwise except for a few scratches here and there. I am loving it brotha! I would take almost any year TA tho. This is my sixth...I think i have a problem....the wife just thinks i am nuts LOL!

I'd love to have a WS6 LT1 to cruise around in. Stick a Borla catback on it and it sounds bad ass!

Another red lt1 ws6 locally in town ... its all rigged up. has a spoiler on a spoiler and has decals all over it. If its really really cheap I would like to save it from its ricer lifestyle.

Funny you should say ricer lifestyle...i applied for a vanity plate if the Vt plate police don't reject it. It is RICEATER HAHAHAH! All we have are ricers around here. Mine are some of the few musclecars that cruise the streets and you are right, the borla catback sounds fbuckin awesome!
