02 Collectors Edition T/A!!! Worth It?
I found a guy close by wanting to sell an 02 Trans Am Collectors Edition with every single option they offered at the time and about 28K miles. It has had a few mods. They include AFR HEADS COMP CAM ARH STAINLESS HEADERS + Y-PYPE W/CATS DYNOMAX SUPER TURBO EXHAUST SPOHN SUBFRAMES SPOHN STRUT BRACE FOOSE WHEELS 18X8.5 FRONT 18X10 REAR TOYO T1R TIRES COMPUTER PROGRAMED DYNO SHEETS INCLUDED 440RWHP 430TRQ. He is selling for a little over $14,000. Think it worth the money?

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
hang on.... he is selling it as having 28k miles? but the carfax claims the car had almost 43k on it last year..... I replied to your carfax request on another thread but given this new revelation i'd inquire to the guy as to what is up with the miles and if there is no good reason i'd pass. usually people will roll back miles to get a higher price but 14k for an 02 CE is great at any mileage. Plus if the miles were rolled back what other issues might be hiding under the skin of this car. I've said it before I will say it again.... why must all these cars have "stories"?

Thank you for all the information. I will try your idea. Hopefully it isn't a hoax. The car looks like a dream.

That is almost too good to be true dude. That car with no mods would go for near 20.
I would not buy it untill I did a serious check on this car. Call around to shops and see if they know anything about the car.
That seems way to good to be true.

Pewter- 2001 TA WS6 M6
I paid 15.9K with 46K miles and got a good deal. If that car checks out it is a great deal.

Thank You Everyone for the feedback. I especially appreciate the feedback from CE owners. Does anyone know how much the mods would cost alone?

Definitely drive it to make sure it doesn't have any obvious issues. If the mods were done well, that's a steal for a CETA. I got mine about 6 months ago, bone stock with 48k for $15,500. Mine was previously in an accident that was repaired. I knew I'd be putting lots of miles on it so I didn't really care about losing resale value because of the history. Now I've put 10k miles on it and about 40 passes at the drag strip!
