Test Drove the new M3 yesterday...
My girl wants a new Mini so we stopped by the BMW/Mini dealership. They had a red M3 Coupe... SMG though...
It is NICE!!!! $68k.... tho... beautiful lines... drivability is amazing. Smooth acceleration, you feel like you are gliding. The most comfortable seats I have ever sat it... besides the 03-04 Mach 1 seats...
AMAZING CAR!!!! FAST!!! and luxurious... i would still take a Vette over it. but... one amazing machine. THAT IS CAR!!!!!
... oh and they didn't have any mini clubmans which is what she wanted to check out... lol.

295tq, not very impressive. Me and my mom test drove one a few months ago. Awesome car but i agree, a C6 Z06 would be a better buy.
Ive seen a few of those clubmans and to be honest I hate them just as much as the normal minis. Good for a girl i guess.

THe new M3 is fuckin sweet, looks amazing, sounds amazing, handles amazing, great interior, and its fast. 414 horsepower now. Sure the torque is "only" 295 lbs, but it comes on pretty low and screams on the top end. You need to drive it with the 6 spd stick though.
Yes the c6z06 is faster and more badass, but it can be argued that you can actually carry people in the m3 and im sure it has more cargo room in it.

Red- 1995 Trans Am
The new E9X M3's actually doesnt use SMG anymore. The have a new 7 speed dual clutch gear box that acts like two seperate transmissions. One gear set is for 1,3,5,7, and reverse and the other is for 2,4, and 6. Its badass because it shifts so much faster than the SMGII that was in the E46 M3. So when your in 1st gear, it already has the second clutch in 2nd just waiting and so on, almost eleminating lag in acceleration. But yeah heffty price tag. Ive seen the hardtop verts going for over $73k
