    How to set cruise

Hi, I am a proud owner of a 2004 Pulse Red GTO M6 with 45,000 miles. I test drove the car, and could not figure out how to get the cruise to work. This may sound stupid, bu could someone please enlighten me on how to get it to work?

    thanks

hey husk, it takes 2 steps to get the cruise working. at the very end of the turn signal lever there is a button (cruise enable/disable)
1st push it once to turn the cruise control on.
the outer end of the lever rotates to set the cruise and adjust the speed.
the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. congrads on the Goat, you will love it!

Bah, doesn't bother me, I'm used to going sideways and doin long burnouts in my 1966 C-10. Sad thing, but I had to sell to get this. It had a VERY stout 383 stroker in it.

Kind of off topic, but what gears in the rear do the 2004 M6 GTOs have? I am askign this, because when I hammered on it, I was doing 120 in 4th, but I think it coulda pulled to around 140, because it had enough rpms left.

Right off the top of my head I'm thinking 140 is right around redline in 4th (M6)

Congrats man, you're the proud owner of a rare and devastating piece of machinery. Go grab a shot of JD, chased by a Foster's to celebrate!
I fail to see your point here.....you can lose it and go sideways into a guardrail with or without TC on. Secondly I don't nor did I suggest/endorse driving like a moron. So I fail to see your point.
