    The shit I get into

SEL came on. WTF? I got home and read the codes with my scanner...P0101 and P0102...MAF low voltage and MAF high voltage. Car ran great......I cleared the codes and the SEL came right back....oh great....here we go.....I have a SD Tune and no MAF by the way...check for vacuum leaks....nope....(I have a vacuum gauge on the vacuum reserve cannister)....After looking/scanning/cussing.....I checked the battery (2 year old NAPA Optima knock off)......and it was shot.....checked the alt voltage with the DIC 13.8 volts....OK....new battery and cleared the codes...all gone...problem fixed....aint that some shit? Throwing MAF codes when your battery is shot.....who wudv'e thunk it....

a few weeks ago her battery light started to flicker from time to time (ford escort). I stopped by autozone and they checked the battery and altenator, they passed but belt was worn and had some corosion on the connections. I replaced the alt belt, main power wires, and terminal mounts.
The light still flickered the next day when she went to work and the car died. now it was pouring down rain so I pucked her up, drove her to work and got soaking wet, 1st when I charged the battery back up with jumper cables enough to get it back to the house, then got even more soaked when I walked the 2 miles in the rain back to pickup my car that I left in the parking lot where her car died(AAA said they couldn't be there for atleast 3 hours). Next morning I popped the alt enator off, took it to the parts store and had it tested again.....it was completely dead.
I put a new altenator on and haven't had a problem since

When I was replacing my headlight adjusters with the lights up I drained my battery and it missfired when trying to start. About 2 weeks later after a random check of codes(I dont have my EGR AIR and o2s turned off yet.. so I check them often) I got the low voltage as well. It went away tho and never came back.
