why code descriptions different???
I noticed the SES light on and lucky for me I was on my way to Autozone. I scan it and code P1416 pops up. I just check the DTC and they are completely different from eachother. On the scanner it said Mfctr auxilary emissions control but in the room here it. what do i do now? Can my O2 sensors or fuel injection cause these prob lems.

Depending on the scanner the descriptions can be a little different - go by the DTC code. See www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1373 Also check to make sure the hose/gasket in the metal pipe where it connects to the header aren't leaking.

The air check valve screws into the metal pipe on the air tube, the other end is connected with a hose and clamp. What bypass kit did you put on?

Nah, TB bypass shouldn't throw P1416 - might get a different code(s) if you didn't plug the sensors back in though.

It's OK to drive with P1416. If you erase it without fixing it it'll come back on after a couple cold starts though.

I'd replace the passenger side air check valve - get one from your local NAPA - once it's replaced the PCM will turn the SES off after a few cold starts, but the code will be stored in "history" for a while until that clears also.
