    ls6 head/cam/intake onto ls1

My LS1 is out of the car and I've got LS6 head/cam/intake on the shelf. Do I need anything else besides gaskets? I've got some free dyno time coming for the tune, anything special to ask for there? (I think they use HP)

If you swap the oil pump and/or timing set, you need a new crank bolt too.

The stock springs, retainers, and seats; should be fine since you are using the cam that is matched to those heads. I was going to do the same swap as you, I already have the heads and intake, but i decided on a little bigger cam

I never cared much for the LS6 cam. Seemed like a very mild cam for the car's potential and overpriced.

If everything is out of the car and you are swapping anyway, I'd think you would pick one of the myriad of grinds that would give you a better return for your work than an LS6 cam.
