ls6 head/cam/intake onto ls1
My LS1 is out of the car and I've got LS6 head/cam/intake on the shelf. Do I need anything else besides gaskets? I've got some free dyno time coming for the tune, anything special to ask for there? (I think they use HP)

I believe with the ls6 cam you will need different pushrods

Have to get new head bolts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't reuse the old ones.
Need new springs, pushrods, retainers, seats, and go ahead and get new LS7 lifters while your at it.

The stock springs, retainers, and seats; should be fine since you are using the cam that is matched to those heads. I was going to do the same swap as you, I already have the heads and intake, but i decided on a little bigger cam

If everything is out of the car and you are swapping anyway, I'd think you would pick one of the myriad of grinds that would give you a better return for your work than an LS6 cam.
