SS Front Bumper Cover Detailing
Has anyone repainted their front bumper cover? My 02 SS (Pewter) looks beautiful except for some minor bug spatter and minor scratches from daily driving. Would it be better to paint it off the car? Should I just buy a new one and have it painted? My concern is that I want it to fit just as good as it does now after completion. Any feedback??

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i got a quote of around 700 or so to remove/repaint the t/a bumper. That seemed high to me.

Just paint it off. No need to buy one. But be sure you paint it real good like a new one. Also before you paint it might as well apply some scratch remover on the part with minor scratches.

if you are considering painting it, maybe try wet sanding and buffing first.
