I have a TR220 cam with 10K miles on it.

Cam specs: 220/220, .552 lift, 114 LSA. All lobes and bearing surfaces are smooth, no grooves.

With supporting mods I picked up about 25 rwhp and 12 rwtq from the cam alone.

I would highly recommend a tune to get the most out of it, just like with any other major modification. You will be able to drive it on the stock tune though.

I had to drive nearly 100 miles (on the stock tune) to get the car tuned after install and it behaved and idled fine, I just didn't go WOT due to not knowing where my A/F ratio was at.
