08-29-2007, 10:29 PM #11HA! I'm still checking sales on eBay, too. I wish I could buy an A4 and use it as a daily driver. My wife wants me to squander my money on food and shelter, though

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
I bought a car (88 honda accord) at an auction once. Didn't even drive or look at it prior to it rolling into the auction lane. I bought it for $700 it had 140,000 miles. Drove it for 3 years and 45,000 miles didn't do a thing other than change the oil and a power steering hose and then sold it for $1200. Who knows the last time the timing belt was done. LOL!!
if it's a good deal, you really can't lose. you can always sell it to someone for more than you paid. Always check a carfax it's worth the subscription price.
