HP tuner questions....

I received my tune from Bryan @ pcm4less but it (the ballon pop up) tells me I don't have a license to install it. I do have the hp tuner, he sent me the tune via email. I downloaded it to my computer, I just can't flash it to the car. Unfortunatly they are closed til Tuesday. I shot him a email. just wondering if anybody else has ideas. Thanks. p.s. He was a great guy to work with!! looking forward to his tune!!!

Can you open up the tune in Tuners?

Yeah, I can open the tune. I can save it to the computer, the icon shows but thats about it. Sorry to be so ignorant on the subject, but I still chicken peck the keyboard. So I'm not up to much on this computer stuff. It says something to the effect of..... You do not have a license for this file. thanks for your help

did brian modify your original file and resend it to you? or did he send you a file he made up? the second one would be why you need to license it, because it isn't your original file that you licensed to. what you should do is take the file he sent you, open yours and do a comparison log. then copy over the differences. save your file, then upload it.
