Well I have been trying to sell the car locally not advertising much just the free kind and most of the interest are people with no money or they have been 16 and 17 year old kids that want to make payments. Personally I don't want to sell the car to some kid thats going to get hurt either. I have had a lot of interest but no ones got cash and every one is trying to finance and with it being 10yrs old with 100,500 miles most bank won't touch it. So if you got the cash great if not and you got a v6 car 2000 or newer and want to trade even if your cars worth $8500 I can then turn and sell it or may get rid of my daily and drive yours.

I purchased the car 10/2006 as a third car. My father-in-law lives with us and he is disabled. We came to a point where I was tired of paying cab fees and community transit fees. I decided to buy a car for him to drive. I have always wanted a Trans Am. So i started looking for a TA that was in my price range that he could drive on a daily basis and I could have fun with it.

I picked the car up with a lot of stuff done to it and was very impressed by the performance of the car. I have had a Typhoon, 95 GT, and drove my brother-in-laws white 02 TA for a month while he was out of town. This car is much faster than any of those.

If your tired of a V6 and want something that is to be recond with on the rode this is it for the money. The dyno sheet I have from 4 years ago shows 351.8 at the wheels.

Since I purchased the car I have installed: NGK Tr55 Gpowers, moroso wires, msd coil, msd optispark installed by SQR, oil pressure gauge, new intake gaskets, edlebrok intake elbow, headlight motor, oil pressure sending unit, madz28 tune, 4.10 motive gears installed by SQR, fixed ac vents, new antenna, did some minor exhaust repair, new O2 sensors, replaced 1 of the O2extensions, replaced 1 hatch strut, replaced 1 foglight, and got the car to clear an 0bdii plug in inspection. The car has no cats so if a visual is done your screwed but if you can get by with a plug in your gold. Insp/Reg are 2 months old. We have put about 3k miles on the car since 10/06. Prior to the gear change I got 28mpg on a trip to Longview running 65 the whole way in 6th.

The car has: Lt4 hotcam, lloydelliot stage 1 budget heads, port matched intake, pnp-descreened maf, tb air foil, k&n cai, msd 6a, gold crane 1.6 rr, upgraded springs and rods, hooker super comp long tubes non-emmisions, custom 3" y pipe, hooker catback, subframe connectors, b&m shifter, enkie v1 17x9 3 piece rims, ls1 tail ights, ls1 driveshaft, Spec Stage 3 clutch, ls1 windshield wipers, with custom center panel.

Parts that go with car: new hi/low fan switch kit, nhra driveshaft safety loop, new brake pads for front and rear, stock cam, stock shifter, some other misc stock parts, do have spare and a gm scissor jack, old headlite motor with a brass gear in it, old antenna, extra hatch strut thats good, lt1 wipers.

Now I have to say the car is no beaty queen but the consesous from everyone I talk to says the car is in good shape for it's age. The driver seat has the wear on the bolster like normal, there is a split in the seam of the back seat.

I love the car and don't want to get rid of it but the Father-in-law got his SSA settlement in and bought himself a truck. Now the car sits around and doesn't get driven much which could eventually be disasterous. Also my house is falling apart and needs some work on the exterior and some interior work and some energy conservation work and my exterior doors don't seal due to warping and a glass sliding door that feels like a cooktop in the afternoons.

i'd be interested in talking. I find out tomorrow if the car is sold outright. Naturally my first choice is to sale second option trade and I prolly would drive yours and sale my other car...

Well the deal fell through. The dad and son were drooling and the mom got in the picture and killed the deal. She doesn't want to loose her son in a car wreck. Kinda hard to argue back on that...So the car is still fs or ft...Lets talk innerchi89...

oh and it doesn't matter what state your in except Alaska and Hawaii my father-in-law can bring it to you for $0.75 a mile max $500 anything over that and I'll pay the rest. He has started a car hauling company and has a very nice setup. 2001 Dodge ex cab 100k miles and 2007 custom tilt bed trailer with wench. He is also looking for work and it is perfect for our low cars.
