NBM- 1999 SS
How much can my stock internals take?
I have a 99 SS with a MTI Heads & Cam pckg. already pushing 419rwhp and am looking at a procharger d-1sc intercooled kit. Since I already have more power I was going to start off with 5psi. Is this too much for my stock internals? Really don't want to pull the motor and build it up. Low miles only 30k.

If you stay around 5 psi, and around 550 psi, you should be fine with a good tune. Some engines last fine with 550 on stock internals, some blow stock, on stock internals. The tune is key.

NO thats not too much. We have went 8-10 lbs. on stock shortblock.
I would say the key to life period would be a good fuel system and a good tune!!!Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

What is your current compression ratio and cam specs? You don't want to have boost bleeding off due to a narrow LSA, but you don't want to have your cylinder pressures spike either.

I think your stock internals will handle the supercharger. I'm running 9 lbs of boost on my Vortech supercharger with intercooler. I'm running 10.45 @ 130mph. 1.391 60 ft time and yanking the front tires of the line.

You should be able to safely run 7 PSI with a good tune and fuel supply. Do check into your cam to see if the specs are suitable for FI purposes(most likely they are not designed for it)
