San Andreas PS2 memory card problem

Hey guys awhile back I sold my old ps2 and my old copy of san andreas now I just bought a new ps2 and san andreas but i still had my old memory card with all 3 citites on it and when I tried to load it it said it wasnt compatible with my version of the game and btw mine says ps2 greatest hits on the cover so i guess there are 2 versions of the game anyone here who has an original ps2 san andreas version that came out in 04 that isnt the greatest hits edition please let me know i will buy it any help is appreciated

They removed the "hot coffee" in the greatest hits version. That's probably what's conflicting with your memory game. I would try to find a used copy of the original game.

Go find a EB Games, Babbages, Software Ect, or Funcoland in your area. They all have used copies for under $20.

I have the original, but my brother scratched up the disk awhile ago and I get the old "disk read error"
