    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

Question i want to hook up 12v cathodes

I'm going to wire these into my car: http://www.xoxide.com/dual-white-cold-cathode-kit.html

and before someone slams me for "riceing" i'm putting them behind my painted clear plate so that the light shows the outline of the bird-like Runnws7's.

My question is_do i have to do any kind of adapting for 12v to run from a car battery, or do i just splice and go? thanks!

It comes with a voltage converter. It converts the 12V on your car to a high voltage to run the tube. So, it should be just a splice and go. I'd call them to find out what voltage range the inverter will work at i.e. 12V +/-3V ...etc.
