98 Z28 good deal or bad?

I found a 98 Z28 6 speed. The guy wants 4500 for it. heres some little probs with it: One is the windsheild is all scratched up (from not changing the **************** windsheild wipers!) , the dash is cracked, the passenger window motor is weak, and rolls up very slowly. Theres a small rip in the seat and carpet as well. The A/C is out, he claims when he replaced the compressor clutch, he drained the fluids and never recharged it. Also, when he went from reverse to 1st gear there was a little clank noise i heard... i asked him what it was and he said nothing. Does this sound like the car is worth 4500 to any of you? Would it be alot to replace the windshield and motor? I know If the A/C compressor is bad then thats about a grand in parts/labor. The paint is in great conidition... That's about all. Oh yea the mileage is 124k. I would like any input from anyone if this is a good deal or not? Thanks,

I would not get it unless you can get it for under $4000. If you are spending $4500 in the car then atleast $1500 repairs (windshield & A/C) that = $6000. I would take that $6000 and look for a better Z28.

If the interior is ripped and the dash cracked the car was not cared for. So the car was probably beat up on and now it had 124k. A car that has been beat on and high miles is not a good combo. You will probably need a rear end soon or a clutch. Both pricy items.

dont, its a beat turd, too much to fix, id buy it for 2 grand but not 4,500

Definately talk him down on price... but I know there are ways to fix scratches in the window if its not too deep.
