    T/A vs vette

A buddy of mine had just bought a 2003 corvette. The car had a tune and a full borla exhaust. I asked him to race, thinking i would lose because of the weight difference and my car being all stock. We did, all the way to about 120, and it was dead even. His excuse was he was "afraid" of his cars power and held off everytime, which was of course BS.

No, everything from the stock cats and back i believe. So not really a "full" exhaust like i said, but there should still be a gain. And he claims the car dynos 450 at the wheels, which is obviously not true with those mods. Probally just 20-30 over the stock HP rating. I have heard people say that corvettes lose more of their power through the driveline than Fbodys, which could explain part of it.

lmao, he has a 10whp cat-back and I doubt he has a tune. He probably puts the same hp down as you. Good runs against a tool. Capable car though! NICE!

I am starting to think there is a larger percentage of vette owners that are just grown up ricers that have a little money. Granted it is still a small number, but I had thought it was just a once in a while thing. Anyway it always feels good to take down a car that has a rep for being "better".
