That's by far my favorite mustang. I'd still take a ZL1 over it any day.
I don't know if that counts though.

nice car but in reality ford never made a muscle car stock for stock that was as strong as a gm. i think even the gt500s were outdone. although the boss 302 used to beat the z28 camaro up although they were not the wilder cars of that era. dont get me wrong there was some hot mustangs in the 60s. but gm had big block camaros, the ls6 chevelle, assorted 396 powered cars.

i shouldnt have said as strong, i should have said stronger. ford was a close but no cigar type of thing. ford may have gm beat in handling but lets face it none of those cars could stop or turn for shit.

First off the old Z-28's were just as fast as the older Moostangs if not faster with some of the different engines they had. I know that not many of the Mustangs cars touched the 302DZ that Chevy put in some of its Z-28's!
One more thing Murder afta Midnight that car does not come close to these!
