Spark plugs
I feel the need to change my stock Formula spark plugs, because I realize that all the little things add up in the end. However, I do not know what would be the best plugs to go with. If anyone knows what brand of plugs/wires would be the best for performance, let me know.

NGK TR55's (stock no. 3951) are a favorite, and cheap. For wires MSD or Taylor's if you still have the stock ones.

thanks guys, and also, are they particularly hard to change. I heard that for 1 of them you have to jack the passenger side of the car up to get to. Is that true?

I just changed them about a week ago. Ya it's a pain in the ass for #8. No need for jacking tho. Go to www.installuniversity.com and click on install documents. Print it out and read it about 3 times and do a practice run on the passenger side. Driver side is easy as cake and ice cream. You will need much much patience for #8. Don't plan on doing this in a couple hours for your first time. Took me 5-6 hours first time. Do yourself a huge favor and get a 5/8 universal sparkplug socket from Orileys. I used a 6 in. 3/8 drive craftsman rachet also. Don't for get the sparkplug antiseize from Orileys also. You'll be glad when you have to change them again. Any more questions there are plenty of experienced f-body plug changers here. Just ask.

From what I've heard, a lot of guys on here have had good luck with AC Delco Iridiums.
Never tried them myself, but next time I change the plugs, I may have to

I just put NGK iridiums in my car. The driver's side isn't bad at all. The passenger side is a pain in the ass. There was a sharp place on the passenger side cylinder head that cut my arm to shreds.

Buy gloves. Remove the coil packs. Put a pillow on the battery so you can put your knees there to get to #'s 6 and 8 on the passenger side.

I agree with taking off the passenger coil packs/coil bracket, I took that off and installed headers and new spark plugs and it makes it easy as pie.. Of course I know a little of what I was doing, but good luck and I used NGK 55's as well, and have MSD wires.
