Mandrel Bend tubing for DIYer's
Most of us here do a lot of our own projects on our cars.
I was looking for a shop in my area to do my exhaust and none of them does Mandrel Bends. So I was either stuck having narrow sections in the bends or look at a builders kit. A buddy showed me this company that sells Mandrel Bent tubing in various sizes and materials. They even have a few kits for F bodies. I order a 5' section of 3" and 2 90*. My buddy gave me a spare over the axle piece he had so now all I will need is to find new tips or cut my old ones off.
Prices are cheaper than what the shop was going to do.
Just thought I would share.

That's cool, I like their high flow cats they offer if I should ever choose to put them on. Mandrel benders are big bucks so that's why most don't have them and those who do charge accordingly.

Yeah they're local to us. The weird collection comes from previous projects they work from cos it's programmed and saved. They'll do the work on one car and then just replicated it for the next. Also the Tercel is owned by the lead tech there, so ofcourse they stock a Tercel kit, lol
I like work. It fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.
