1999 Firebird Trans Am $6,000 OBO
1999 Trans Am, 6 speed manual transmission, Monsoon stereo, T-tops... The miles are somewhere around 130k... Asking 6,000 or best offer. Cash, Cashier or certified checks only.
We'll start with the good.
LS6 (That's right) engine. Has about 16,000 miles on it. Dynoed 388 rwhp and 384 rwtq (before LT headers and with under 1k miles after install)
8.8" Rear w/4.10. Also comes with a set of 3.73 gears and posi unit, stock axles, heavy duty tubular torque arm and extra (stock) driveshaft.
sub-frame connectors (weld in, not installed)
TTM rims, 11" x 17 rear, 9.5 x 17" front (Also comes with set of 4 stock rims)
Long tube headers, SLP Y pipe, SLP original loud mouth exhaust. (It's VERY loud!!!)
Pro 5.0 short throw shifter.
SLP whisper lid.
LS7 clutch.
I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff...
The bad.
The rear is currently blown. I do have the 3.73 gears and Posi but you will need to buy axles to fit that set up. If you choose to rebuild I have a set of stock axels that come with the purchase.
The Speakers (Subs, and passenger door) are blown out but the stereo still works and you can listen to it.
The seats, Stitching is coming undone and foam is being exposed.
There is a larger dent on the passenger side quarter panel. There is also a larger dent on the hood. A few nicks and scratches through out.
The paint is showing it's age and in some places beginning to peel a bit.
SES code for the reverse solenoid lock out, and MAF sensor are showing. The reverse solenoid should be an easy fix.
3.73s
Stock rims
Stock drive shaft and Tubular torque arm.
Stock axels and subframe connectors.
Paint chipping on trunk lid
Dyno sheet.
It sucks to let her go but I got to buy a new house.Last edited by Spaz; 03-12-2014 at 10:06 AM. Reason: Counted the milage on the LS6 wrong.

Seems like a decent deal. A lil tlc and she's back up and running. I already have 2 cars, a truck and a bike, or I would help you out and take that off your hands. Good luck with the sale anyway.
