The flywheel can be resurfaced. What you will want to upgrade is the Master Cylinder. This is the PITA to change part that is directly under your brake booster. The reason you want to upgrade this is that the factory system is barely adequate to engage the fact hydraulically actuated slave cylinder, and you want to put in a stiffer clutch disc to upgrade your clutch to handle more abuse and power. The master wont be able to keep up with your clutch and slave's demands, and will not fully disengage the clutch, wearing out your clutch prematurely, of RUINING your tranny. Any clutch you pick besides the fact one will give you these issues. Even if you stick with your fact clutch, you will want to remove the "obstruction" that GM put in your line that leads from the master to the slave. Look up DRIll MOD in the search engine on this site, and you will see what I am talking about. The Tick Master comes with this new line, minus the "obstruction." Hope this helps.

what AZ said lol if you can afford a tick mc then def get one its well worth it but at the very least dop the drill mod as he said... for the clutch I would recommend an ls7 clutch and flywheel from a z06 or a monster stage 1 or diamond stage 1 any of those 3 will handle a pretty stout ls1 its all about price and preferance
