Installing an energy suspension tranny mount
I'm going to try to put it in today. I'm pretty sure I'm good on how to do it, I just have two questions.
What are the torque specs?
and it came with an extra metal piece they call a preload plate, but some people say not to use it?

Not sure what the "preload plate is" but if it spaces the transmission up from the crossmember then it will throw off the driveshaft angle. Also, if you change the trans mount to a poly bushing, but the motor mounts are stock, get ready- since the trans mount won't flex as much the motor mounts will take most of the flex and tear up sooner.

theyre stock, but wont be but for a few more months. I only drive my car about 300 miles a month, and most of that is fairly easy so i'm not too worried at this point.
But I managed to find a spec sheet, and enough people said to toss the preload plate so i did....so far the install has been great
