Performance Difference
I don't know if this has been posted before, sorry.
Between all the LS1 year Camaros. Is there a performance difference between a Z/28 and an SS?
Would a 98 SS be faster then a 02 Z/28? vice versa?
BTW this question is for factory stock camaros.

black- 2001 Camaro SS M6
this has been covered 600 billion times. performance is all about the driver...that being said..the 01 and 02 ls1s have the ls6 intake giving them a lil more power...but on the flip side...a guy took a 98 z28 or 22 to a 12.9 at the track in cold weather..and then the same guy took a 01 ss to a 12.9 in hotter weather.

Hey, a 2002 Z28 with low mileage would be much preferable than a 1998 Z with high mileage. The more scrutinization you use on purchasing low miles and a higher year, the longer you'll have the car than the guy who bought the same car for less. I spent $11995 on my 00 Z w/ 46K miles. I really wanted a 30th anniversary or a LT1 indy edition, but it wouldve cost me the same money with 40K+ and 3+ years. The way I see it...3 more years with the car.
