New to the trans am world....
Alright guys I have to start out by saying that I am a Mustang man that is getting converted! I have built mustangs my whole life, but things are about to change. In two days I will be trading my 2000 Mustang GT convertible for a 1998 Trans am, I have always wanted a 98-02 WS6 just cause they are the most Bad A$$ looking cars on the road. I will be new to the LS1 world but I can tell that you guys on this site know your stuff so I'm looking foward to learning all I can. The car I'm getting is a 1998 Trans Am Red with black leather, auto transmission, and the LS1 has been bored and rebuilt. I'll get pics of the car up soon. I have to say I am enjoying the site and all the information on here, remember to be nice to the former mustang man, atleast I'm changing over to GM..

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
G'day and welcome. No hate here. I've owned Mustangs before, some members on the site still do. Most of us are car nuts who appreciate most cars. We just happen to think our f-bodies are a well designed and well performing vehicle compared to some others
. Seriously though, you'll find lots of good info here, and you're sure to find your conversion to GM to be quite easy once you get your car.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

I love the LS motors. Ive owned (2) LS2's and currently have (2) LS1's and they are bulletproof in my opinion. Have fun with it!
