I got a PS3 recently; I have to say I am kind of on the fence about keeping it... Every time I want to play something, it seems like I have to wait an hour to download some bullshit before I can start playing a game. With my 360 I can just turn it on, and play. I bought it just to play Gran Turismo 5 and Killzone 2-3 and it literally took me around 45 minutes to download and install everything required to play the games. Is this normal? I have cable internet and never have had this problem before on 360; it downloads whole 6Gig games faster than this thing. Any of you guys have the same issues with yours?

I usually download that Crap when I'm not playing. Some games have installs to remove loading times, but none of that is required. U only need the updated if u wanna get online.

Gt5 released basically a full new games worth of stuff.

Yeah, I like playing online. I tried GT5 without installing it and the loading times were atrocious so I just went ahead and installed it.

Yea I had those problems when I got my ps3 when I was in Iraq, but once I did all the downloads it run fairly quick, I just hated having to wait for the downloads. I would actually do the downloads while I went to the chow hall to eat or the gym so I didn't have to worry about waiting for it lol.

Right... I was pretty upset about the game until the dlc... BTW I got an extra holde commodore and monaro if anyone wants.

I work for the government so this is pretty much what I do at work when they'res nothing going on. Weekends are dead so I surf the internet a lot. Specially on nightshift. Yeah man just friend request me, I have like one friend on PS3 anyways so the more the merrier.

Yea we had internet but it was expensive and shitty as hell man, the slowest was like 50 bucks the second fastest was 100 which was what I bought. And the fastest was 180 <----Wasn't worth it what so ever it was a rip off.
