Never ending leak!!!
Allright, so I've been chasing this damn oil leak for over a year now. I've replaced everything I could think would be leaking, valley cover gasket, knock sensor oil seals, oil sending unit, valve cover gaskets, rear main seal, rear cover gaskets. The leak has seemed to slow down, but its still there. What else am I missing??? I can tell its not the oil pan because its dripping above it, so were could it be coming from??

Head gasket? Gasket on the fitting above the oil filter?
You may need to just clean everything up real well, then put the car up on a lift and start watching everything while it runs.

I'll check both. Is there anything higher up that could leak?

No idea. Here is the reference pic that Cutlass posted in a similar thread recently: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showpost.p...75&postcount=5 I thought that same fitting may be the source of the leak on our car.

Higher up could be the Oil Pressure Sender unit again. If it's crack it will leak. That thing is very easy to break. When you installed the intake from the last time you could have smack the OPSU again. That damn hose is an unforgiving bitch if you are not careful while installing the intake.

Well it feels awfully sturdy. I know from experience it breaks a lot. I'll stick my hand back there and try to feel some oil.

I have an extra rear cover gasket if your rear main isn't the issue.
And I checked all my plugs and sensors and I'm still leaking. It's at the tranny shop now, so ill look at it some more when she comes home. I'm seriously debating pulling the motor out...
