Yeah, still expensive, if you ride and maintain it.
I've installed 9 sets of tires on that green bike, three sets of chains/sprockets and three sets of spark plugs, and a bunch of oil changes, basically I've spent the entire cost of the bike maintaining it, $10K for the bike AND $10K for maintenanceLast edited by LimeNine; 03-12-2011 at 04:53 PM.

yeah...and that's why i'd never own a harley. shit...the mods that i've done to my bike have totaled out to maybe $500...$700 if you include tires (front and rear LED turn signals, hugger, seat cowl, seat wraps, undertail, sprocket, tires, yosh pipes, and K&N filter). and when you add in the oil changes and maintenance we're hittin up to around $900. and that's one change of spark plugs, a water pump and radiator, and about 5 oil changes over 15,000 miles and 6 or 7 years.

I agree with Murder..
Imho looks like they saw you comming.. wow
It only cost me 35 bucks to have 4 auto-x tires mounted and installed..
The tires required wheel bead prep and seal too..
Only ~$600 for all 4 tires themselves..
Maybe time for a new shop bro..Last edited by Smittro; 03-13-2011 at 05:34 AM.

Can't u buy a decent non-harley for that price?
More reason for me not to get a harley now that i see what it costs for simple maintenance.

Holy **** I agree with others, I spent almost what you did in LABOR for 2 brand new racing tires on my last bike, and that included new rear brake pads...
Nice bike tho.
