    1996 Firbird Formula Center console

    I currently own a 96 firebird. Its a 6 speed manual. most interior parts are discontinued. Whould I be able to switch the whole console to a 97-02 console.

    I need to replace the entire center console on my 2000 WS6. Is there a pretty reliable company that most buy OEM parts from that a lot of people on this site use. I have a number of items i want to replace but I get lost online looking for some of the items. Rear light assbly,center console, gear shift knob etc... Sorry to jump in on your post like this, just lookin for some help.

    YES, i did this with my 95 formula. it is SIMPLE! just have to find parts that are still in good shape which is the trick.

    OP, if your interior center console is the dark gray (graphite), and you wish to keep it the same color, you need to look for a center console from '97-'99 (assuming you want the redesigned center console w/rear cup holders). otherwise you can look for a console from '93-'99.

    in 2000, they change colors to ebony (black) for '00-'02 years.
