    I had the oppurtunity to shoot it at a range and have been feverishly comparison shopping since, but haven't "pulled the trigger" yet.

    In that case all I'll suggest is hold the Smith&Wesson M&P9 compact. I was sold when I held it. Can get one with Crimson Trace as well.
