    your running rich the smell is your cats trying to burn off all the extra HC's, when it doesn't completly burn the fuel then it smells like that

    could be carbon shit build up if the car has been babyed a lot, mine does it sometimes when i get on it WOT (wide open throttle)

    tony is right. its the cats. they are what produce that horrid smell. get rid of them or get new ones... ill tell u this, for the price of what its gonna cost to get a replacement cat new and installed, you can get LT's and an ORY and install them yourself, if you dont have them already.

    Or he could take it to the dealer and most likely get them replaced for free under the insanely long warranty they have to offer on emissions equipment
