1998 Turbo Trans Am

I just purchased this car. This is my first ls car and also my first turbo car. The previous owner bought it modded so mods are somewhat unknown. I don't know enough about the ls motor to go down and start tearing it apart. It runs and starts right up. It is not perfect though. The body has some dings and scratches. The headlights don't open. The rear bumper is starting to have the clear peel and the hood is black. The interior is clean other than the torn driver seat and the nasty painted trim. The motor sounds like it has a cam and when the car is warm and you start it sometimes itll stall out. It needs a tune most likely. Its an auto tranny with a shift kit I was told. It shifts hard. This thing needs a little tlc to make it perfect. Price is obo. I might even trade for a stock ls1 car so I can actually learn these motors. I found an suv that I'd like and need the down payment. Looking to sell soon. If it doesn't sell soon its going in for a tune and I'm going to start fixing the minor shit and the price will go up. If you need pics of anything let me know. I am willing to work on the price. The previous owner said the motor/tranny has about 7k on them. No paperwork to show though. The carfax shows that the motor was however replaced at 55k by a chevy dealership. Its going to the shop Monday so I will know more then and hopefully have some numbers by the end of next week.

Did you ever get it to stay running right or is it still cutting out on you? What turbo kits on it what HP did the previous owner claim?

It runs great. Only thing it does is when you turn it off when warm and go to start it right after itll stall, if you tap the gas it stays running. Its an ebay kit I'm pretty sure. Previous owner said 480/510.
