    Opinions on Project Plan

I have a 2000 non WS6 TA. I purchased a functional superhawk hood that is not painted yet, but I have installed it. It still needs a little tweeking to make the fit better. I figure to get the body shop to do that when it is painted. So what I need some advice on is the CAI. I am thinking the Volant CAI is the way to go with this hood. Should I get the Volant put on before or after the hood is painted? Since I want to mostly show the car off, should I instead go with the SLP lid?

Here is the car as it sits now in my garage

i say as soon as you can for the volant, the air coming in from the hood will be way better than it is now.

I guess since this is your main goal, it's all what you want. Many under the hood pics floating around here, check them and take from them what you will. Or even browse through the sponsors websites and see what they have to offer.

I have the slp lid (b/c I got it for super cheap), but I'm not concerned with looks. If I was, I alwasy like the way the clear lid looked, over the dual cone filters.
