    What should I do??

I am stumped on my next mod and want LS1's help Last year I did H/C/supporting mods minus rear end This year I want to do a mix of performance/apperance mods. I am stuck between these for my next

1: Black Halo lights (JDM off ebay) worried that they will fog up or break

2: Pro 5.0 with short stick

    3: White face gauges

4: CTV-S Calipers with Z06 rotors but I wouldn't be able to put them on til I get my 18's which will be a while, maybe end of summer.

Help me decide LS1 I would post a poll but I haven't been able to post one in 3 months so....

I'd skip everything on your list including the 18s and buy a rear end/driveshaft/tires.

Well, after my SD tune my budget for my car would be about $400 dollars which is what the brakes are going to roughly cost. The rear will come next summer.....my stock rear will hold this summer almost guaranteed since my rear tires get 0 traction This year I was leaning towards every other mod being apperance so I can make the SS look a little bit better

SS's don't need mods to make the appearance better. IMO these type mods have the opposite effect. My .02.

if stopping fast is ur problem just let the brick walls take care of that one for u, ain't no faster way to stop lol but anyway...if u feel like stopping is an issue with all the extra power then I def. wouldn't delay on the brakes, better safe than sorry.

Why would you do this? They will likely slow down the car, add unsprung weight, make it even more difficult to get traction, and create a harsher ride...

i was going to say for performance/apperance mods WAS a nice rim and tire setup and the Pro 5.0 with short stick

BUT seeing as you only have $400 to spend thats not going to work lol

IMHO Drag wheels look queer as fuck I'm not building a all out drag car so I don't have to worry about drag wheels. If I was doing an all out drag car then yes, I would do wheels. I want to stop, and its not going to slow my car down by much, maybe a tenth in the 1/4. And considering this bitch is getting SC or Turbo'ed in or around 5 years if I don't upgrade to a C6 Z06 before that, means stopping is going to be very very important.

Edit: To all that have drag wheels, if you need them, thats fine! I'm just not going to put those types of wheels on a street car
