I just got a raptor hood myself. They forgot to ship the air box and it is on its way. What did you not like about it? From the pictures I felt it was going to be better than my stock with lid. I plan on going to the dyno with the hood on and the stock airbox and lid then switching to there box to see if there is any base difference. I assume with there box after about 60mph it has to be better than stock if it is the same or better at 0mph at the dyno.

I have the raptor hood and air box. The SC air box is larger than the stock air box so will flow better. You need to make sure though to use some like 3M adhesive to get that foam to stick to the hood so your airbox is sealed well for the ram air effect. As far as a dyno run you will not see much gain at all but once you are moving you can tell the throttle is a little more responsive.

sounds like i will be going with the suncoast air box since its just as good or if not better one more question does your guys RAPTOR hood have rain baffles in it. mine looks like it has one piece coming down from the hood and one piece going up from the hood is this normal.

Yes. Basically all it is is a small baffel where the rain will hit the little wall and the air flows over. There are small holes as well for the water to drain out. So far I have liked mine!

when i got mine, the radiator piece was broken so i drove around with the stock air box for a few weeks. i noticed a difference when i switched from the stock one to the suncoast box. the way their hood is designed the airflow comes in from the top rather than the front. so if you were to keep the stock airbox set up the air would be hitting the top of the lid....
