pewter- 1999 Corvette FRC
Dash keeps flashing service tires soon.
None of the buttons on the right seem to work properly when switching from odometer, tripometer, English/ metric etc. Suggestions? 1999 FRC.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery to let the computer reset? Leave it disconnected for a few minutes and see what happens.

Done that a few times. Then the computer seems to work and I can toggle through the buttons on the right of the dash. But after 20-30 minutes the computer seems to get a mind of its own and the buttons don't work anymore.

Quick Silver- 2002 Z06
When I was looking into getting a corvette I did a lot of research on what goes wrong with them.
Things like this on the C5 seem to always be attributed to some sort of bad ground.
Try doing some searching on the corvette specific forums...
Good Luck!

When it comes to the brain in the car I really dunno. I mean hell my AC wont ever turn off. I can adjust the thermostat to hot and cold but when I turn on the blower it will go to AC. LOL
