I give up pcv location 5.3 ????

I give up, can't find the can't find the PCV valve location on my 2005 5.3.

There is a port on the rear of left side valve cover that looks like a PCV.
But it won't pull out and there is no rubber groument.
Can't find anything else that looks it.

The engine has a LS1 manifold on it.
Could it be covered up by the manifold.????????????

Please Help!!!!!!!!!

I wish it was that easy, it's not there just a port in the driverside valve cover.

it shouldnt be covered up by anything mine has the ls6 intake on it as well and its at the very back on the left side

I was wondering the same thing, I really have no clue where to find the PCV valve. Do you have to remove that plastic piece on the 5.3 that says VORTEC or what? I don't have a clue where to find that thing.

I think in 04 they did away with a PCV valve. When I went to the auto parts store for my 04 Seirra 5.3 they didn't even have a part # for a PCV.

Really? Thats the same thing that happened to me, I went to an auto shop and they couldn't find a pcv # either, i figured the guy who helped me didn't know what he was doing.

So that means there is something internally wrong with the motor, time for a 6.0 swap

Does it have an emissions routing diagram over the radiator? That should show it if there is one.

On My 04, when I put a 110lsa cam on it, I had to get a catch can setup. It was dumping chingas of oil in the intake.

It's on the left side, the drivers side. I put a catch can on my 04 it just looks like a round thing on the back of the value cover and has a hose going under the Vortec cover, hope this helps.
