    as a professor you're hoping that your market is the one that students want to come to and that once they decide to spend their money there that your class is the one that they want to come to.

    i dunno...i guess that that's the economic way to look at it.

    Students are like customers. As a teacher, you have to accomodate all students. Some learn faster than others. In a fish market, not every customer wants the same kind of fish. Everyone has their preferences.....

    You have to convince your audience to buy into your lecture (fish)...perhaps by appearance or how the lecture (fish) is presented.

    Everyone has different tastes in fish (or ways of learning). To be successful, you must accomodate for all types.
