Black- 2001 Trans Am WS6 M6
Looking to buy my first Trans Am
I'm looking to buy my first Trans Am. I found an '01 WS6 with 30,000 miles on it and I talked him down to 11,000 from 13,000. Am I right in believing that for the miles and year this is a pretty good deal? Everything is stock except for performance exhaust and has the six speed manual. Thanks for any feedback.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I was thinking the same thing after reading this board for a while and lookin at prices on Craig's List. Going to get it next weekend. My buddy works for a performance shop that specialize in LSx motors. The owner has built several LSx track cars and just like everyone on here can attest to has said, "LS motors are the best horsepower per dollar motor made." This also means I get access to their dyno and tuner and performance parts at a fraction of the price!
Can't wait to become a memeber of the LS1 fraternity!

I'd buy it now, before some one else does. Where do you live, so I can buy it before you do?

Haha, sorry. If I told you that then it'd be a battle to the death to see who got their first. Buying it tuesday or thursday. I am very excited to drive it home and call it mine!

Do yourself a favor and pull a carfax...
I found a badass TA and it looked great... Low miles etc... Pulled the carfax and found out it was a salvage with 8 previous owners...

Brought it home last night! Lovin it. Cruised at 80 mph at 1800 rpm, it was nuts. as you can imagine there are about five different mustangs in my apartment complex but only one Pontiac TransAm! Parked right between two of them and all I could think of was how it was like a pedastal stand. Mustangs always comin in second or third! Haha, also had my first run in with a ricer on the way home. Kept getting up next to me in his Acura and gassin on it. I didn't even give him the time of day.
