That is nothing compared to the 120 mm that an M1 has or the 155 mm that the NLOS-C will have for the FCS program.
Only 34K miles and still counting (that's from Sept '97)

For its time, the Armstrong Gun was the shit. It was a Civil War era weapon stationed at the Confederate port at Fort Fisher, NC. Now it's at trophy point at Westpoint, NY.

You kids never got to see the Big 16" guns on the old Battleships.
Talk about loud!!! and being able to shoot a porjectile the weight of a VW Beetle for over 20 miles.
They where cool to watch!
not to mention they had twin 5 inchers also!
3 inch guns are for the little boats.Last edited by badass67; 02-01-2006 at 08:10 PM.

I used to be a 13B Field Artillery. I was on the M109A3 155mm and the M110 203mm. It was awesome to see 3 feet of recoil. King of Battle.

yea i seen that and the paris gun, which to me is a total waist of time and men and money on there dumb ass part
why not spend the money and build a hundred of the other gun and cause more damage with that. and it is more mobile then the train gun or paris gun..oh well to each his own i guess
