the new guy
well new guy hear. just picked up a 02 ws6 auto with 90k. looken for some good starting blocks on what to do.it is my daly driver. i just bolted on a slp lid, gutted the ram air and tb by pass with a 1in spacer.
i thinking long tube headers, tuner,cam(any where in the 1500-7000) maybe even 3.73 gears and need to do it all on the CHEEP. im pritty sure i can do most of it on my own. any and all help would be cool

Welcome to the site! Congratz on the TA! So far so good but for an A4 your going to want to get a stall if your going to add a cam and if you get a stall to keep your tranny cool your going to want to get a tranny cooler.

ya tranny cooleris on the list with the stall. any idesa on what stall to run. as for the cam ive bin looking at the comp xtreme 1800-6800rpm 222int,224exh@.50dur .566/568 lift and 112lobe separation.

anything in the 3000 and up range seems to be good. If you can try and get a ride with someone with a stalled ls1 so you can see the difference. That cam is a "small" cam but can make good power and not kill street manners.
