This is a bill being passed to the House for approval, it's called HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing and Record of Sales Act.
Couldn't find this using the forum search, so sorry if a repost. Just wanted to spread the word on what the government is trying to "sneak in the backdoor". I realize this will probably start arguments, but it is reality and people need to know, whether you're for or against guns. Supposedly they've been trying to pass it under the public's radar since January.

The second amendment is a very good idea for two basic reasons:

1. Guns in the hands of the populace are the ultimate restraint on an abusive government.

2. Any foreign invader knows he will have his hands very full.

The BO method will likely not be to take guns away, but to make ammo prohibitively expensive and difficult to obtain. A gun with no ammo is just an expensive club.

Here is my idea.

Lets all move to Texass and get it annexed from the federal govt. We will make Sarge the president. All the women will stay, cuz lets face it, Texas women are as good as it gets. The south border will be guarded by all our guns that we keep, cuz we are allowed to have guns. There won't be any immigrants, cuz we will shoot them on the spot. We will have to figure out a way to guard the north border, I don't trust the Okies to do it for us.

We will have an express lane for the death penalty if we need it.
