What to do in Seattle?
My wife is leaving Wed for two weeks of training in Seattle and I'm going to fly out and see her for her birthday.
Anyone live in Seattle or visited? What are some interesting places to see? Any good eats?

the space needle has a nice (but i think a little spendy) restaurant that over looks the city and i think the rock and roll hall of fame is a close walk from that. u could check out pikes place market which is a world famous market down by the piers. u can always catch a baseball game if ur into sports, i know theres plenty of small, good restaurants scattered around the stadiums (Safeco and Qwest Field) and the south center mall is a good place for the wife to go shopping. sorry i cant give u names to places and better info but its seattle, i've never had a hard time finding stuff to do when i go there. hope this gives u a couple ideas
OH! and if u have some time to do a little bit of driving then i would recommend checking out snoqualmie falls. u can get turn by turn directions here

Nothing to see and food is covered in a moldy green baby shit type substance. People are all retards and you cant see your nose with the rain and fog. Stay in the hotel and screw your brains out and imagine your in South Texas sitting under a Palm Tree sipping a cold Shiner Bock. Whatever you do DO NOT LEAVE THE HOTEL ROOM!

me and the wife just got back from a trip to seattle! we stayed at a hotel downtown, about 4 blocks from the space needle. walked along the waterfront. there was obviously some very good seafood. go to the Crab Pot on Pier (55, or 56 i think). we got whole king, snow and dungeness crab, prawns, and veggies steamed and plopped on our table. messy as hell but was definitely worth the money. the aquarium is kinda small, but ok if it's not the weekend and full of kids. the pacific science museum was pretty neat, again without the kids running around. there is an Imax theater there with a 80ft x 60ft screen to watch the movies on.
if you have the time, take a ferry over to the olympic peninsula. drive up to port angeles and stay the night at a B&B or something. gorgeous locale and friendly folks up there. i have the number to the b&b in Port Angeles that we stayed at if you would like it. PM me.

And just to add b/c noone has said it yet...If you guys have the time and the weather is good....(being seattle, thats asking alot)....try to take a trip to Mt Rainier. It's alittle bit of a drive, but if it's a sunny day (this time of year) you cant beat it.

Made it to Seattle... We ate at Elliot's and walked around the piers. Later on we had dessert at The Melting Pot and on our way back to the hotel saw ghat there was an erotic art show going on so we decided to stop and check it out. I must say this was some of the weirdest shit I've ever seen! I think we were the only "normal" people there. There was a guy leading a girl around on a chain.. She was a cat and played the part well. She was wearing a thong and nothing else. She was led around on her chain on her hands and knees. She was bad and looked like she would scratch your fucking eyes out if you messed with her. I was impressed.
